Install a charging station at home
Discover the e_mobility turnkey solution: we offer a home visit or virtual homecheck to determine the best charging solution for your home. Following this, we provide you with a quote, including the delivery and installation of your chosen charging station. Once you place your order, we handle the installation and activation. Finally, you will receive an invoice along with pre-filled forms to claim your government subsidy.
”Clever primes” subsidies
In order to support the switch to electric mobility and to ensure the autonomy of electric vehicles in Luxembourg, the government offers a subsidy programme for the installation of private charging stations.
Who and what is subsidised?
- Private households – owner or user of an eligible parking space (private house or flat)
- New charging station
- Purchase of charging stations between 1 July 2020 and 31 December 2025
- Parking space located on Luxembourg territory
- Maximum charging power limited to 11 kW and installed by a professional electrician
- Only one parking space per user within the same building
- No financial aid will be granted for charging stations intended for commercial operation or resale

The benefits of owning an electric vehicle depend on a number of different factors. For example, the possibilities for recharging at home and at work, the possibility of planning daily journeys, their frequency and length. A smartphone application enables everyone to check whether their travel profile is compatible with electric mobility. The use of electric vehicles is already proving advantageous for many profiles.
The e_mobility application provides a map of compatible public charging stations. You can search for a charging station by address, or geolocate to find the ones nearest you.
You can also filter by connector type and power level. You'll be able to view only the terminals you're interested in.
By clicking on a terminal icon, you can access useful information such as the current tariff, the power available, its accessibility, the type of connectors, and so on. :
To ensure that the charging infrastructure is not set up exclusively through private-sector investment, the government has decided that Luxembourg's network operators will set up a national public charging infrastructure, which will deploy a network of over 700 charging stations throughout the country, coordinate all charging operations via an IT platform, and ensure the technical maintenance of the charging stations.
