e_sunity
Your photovoltaic system designed to help you produce and consume better
What if every ray of sunlight became a source of energy independence?
With e_sunity, electris turns your roof into a true solar power plant, supporting you at every step: from the first consultation to commissioning, including profitability calculations and administrative procedures.
Your photovoltaic installation becomes a sustainable, profitable investment perfectly integrated into your daily life.

Why install photovoltaics at home?
Reduce your bills. Increase your home’s value.
Consume the electricity you produce: less energy purchased, more savings every month. When your production exceeds your needs, the surplus can be fed into the grid and compensated. Over time, the installation pays for itself and becomes a true real‑estate asset.
Clean energy today, a more sustainable future tomorrow.
Much of Luxembourg’s electricity is imported and still partly fossil‑based. By producing your own solar electricity, you reduce CO₂ emissions and contribute to a more sustainable future for current and future generations.
Less dependence, more energy freedom.
Producing your own electricity protects you from price increases and energy‑market uncertainties. Combined with a battery, your installation can also provide backup power during outages, offering more autonomy and peace of mind.

What subsidies are available?
The Luxembourg State supports homeowners who invest in a photovoltaic installation through the Klimabonus program, which contributes to national decarbonization goals.
To be eligible, the installation must:
- be located in Luxembourg on a residential building (single‑family house or co‑ownership),
- have a capacity of at least 2 kWp and operate in self‑consumption,
- be carried out by an approved installer,
- be a new installation or an extension of an existing installation.
Currently, 2 support schemes are available: the new pre‑financing scheme and the classic procedure (see below).
What are the differences between the 2 Klimabonus support schemes?
Classic scheme – without pre‑financing | New scheme – with pre‑financing | |
|---|---|---|
Amount of aid | 50% of investment costs (€37,500 max. with battery) | Depends on the installed system capacity (€12,250 max. with battery) |
Battery only | Not eligible | Possible |
Waiting period | About 10 to 12 months before payment | No waiting: deducted directly from the installer’s invoice |
Feed‑in tariff | Compensation linked to the monthly market price | Compensation linked to the monthly market price |
Power range | 3 kWp to 30 kWp | From 2 kWp, no maximum limit |
Deadline | Offers signed until 4 March 2026 | Offers signed until 31 December 2031 |
In some municipalities, local subsidies can be combined.

There is no exact answer, as the amortisation period depends on many factors: system size and orientation, roof configuration, local sunshine conditions, panel and inverter models, and your electricity consumption (the higher it is, the more savings you will make).
In Luxembourg, considering available subsidies, a typical residential installation is usually amortised in about 4 to 7 years for a single‑family home, far below the expected lifespan of a photovoltaic system.
Using specialised software, electris can simulate your situation by combining your historical consumption data, estimated production based on average sunlight in Luxembourg and your building's configuration, to accurately assess the financial interest of your project before it begins.
Yes, in most cases it is more advantageous to declare the installation in self‑consumption mode rather than under the guaranteed feed‑in tariff. This reduces your electricity bill, limits your exposure to grid fluctuations and still allows you to valorise your surplus by injecting it into the grid.
In Luxembourg, self‑consumption installations benefit from preferential subsidies such as Klimabonus and other municipal aids.
electris supports you in analysing your needs and choosing the most suitable configuration.
Operating costs are low compared to the energy savings generated (annual costs <1% of investment). Although photovoltaic technology is mature and reliable, regular monitoring and appropriate maintenance are recommended to ensure optimal long‑term performance.
Through its preventive and corrective maintenance services, electris ensures the proper functioning of your installation throughout its lifecycle. Checks and interventions are carried out at an appropriate frequency based on the system’s actual condition and operational needs.
This approach preserves performance, reliability and durability while avoiding unnecessary and costly interventions.
